Hi, I am new to the forums and hoping to put together my first hackintosh build very soon. I'm way over do on a new Windows box and and thought I'd go all out on a new machine. If I can manage to get it to run a respectable build of OSX Leo then all the better. I'm pretty particular about components and am hoping you guys can help me here. So far I've got a couple hd's and a new Q9300 proc. I am very interested in Shuttle and SFF systems and have been looking at the following barebones system SX48P2 E. It pretty much has all the features I want, quad core, 1066 DDR2 memory (OC'd), 1600FSB up to 8Gb, Gb ethernet, and 2xPCI-E x16 slots (CrossfireX support). I am not much of a PC gamer (stick to mostly consoles) but I like having the option if I pickup a cheap card or something.

Does anyone have any experience with this and if so what have you used in your build and what problems/solutions did you come up with? I'd really like this to be as compatible as possible. I'm not 100% set on the Shuttle but would like something similar (Micro-ATX would be easier but not really what I'm looking for).

From http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...#Shuttle_SP35P2 it looks like the last gen version is not far off but I would really like the audio to work. I could put another audio card in there but that would eat up precious slots of course.
