un-normal restart and gma 950 problem

Hi guys

 

I installed Kalyway 10.5.2 on HP dv1650 laptop with Vanilla kernel. everything works fine except two things:

 

1. The restart for my computer always act as shut down. when the computer exits leopard, it just shuts down instead of boot up again. This is true even when I choose restart from installer when booting from the cd.

 

2. For gma950, I only get mouse artifect when I'm in Office 2008 or adobe acrobat 9 and when I rename any file.

 

Any ideas what's going on?
