thewierdone2000
Hey, So I have done multiple installs of Leopard (iAtkos v2, updated to 10.5.3) and I constantly have a problem with unraring archives. If the file is 100 or so megabytes, split into multiple archives, it creates kernel panic while unraring. Normally I would think this to be a software issue, however, I have tried Stufit and UnRarX and both have the same error. I have also tried different archives. Any ideas? Thanks! thewierdone2000
Bump! I know it's an obscure problem, but if anyone had any suggestion at all... I'm pretty desperate. pbaum321
You might want to try and limit the amount of memory OSX is using to see if that fixes the problem. There are known issues with some kexts and memory is excess of 3.7 or so GB. I had the same issue until I converted all my drives to use AHCI instead of IDE.
