kytzu Posted July 12, 2008 Share Posted July 12, 2008 normaly ntfs partitions are mounted by default as readonly, try to open disk utility and mount it manually. if you want read/write access over NTFS, install ntfs-3g tool! It will prob have a weird name (mine is called "SQ004680V03" for some reason... Anyway, if your user name and password are the same on the mac and vista, there's a good chance you'll be able to get to your files, simply by double clicking on the picture of the disk, then look in the users folder for your vista folder and your files. If that doesn't work, try putting the files you'll want into the Public folder from Vista, then you'll probably be able to access them from your mac.
