Linoleum
Hi, Simple question : I've got a 1st generation iPhone, imported from the US, and jailbreaked/unlocked with the firmware 1.1.2, working very well with the Australian Vodafone network. Since in australia, the iphone3G is now sold by telstra/optus, and vodafone, will my 1st gen iphone work directly if I upgrade it to the 2.0 firmware, or will I still have to unlock it (forever, for every new update of the firmware...) . Thanks. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/115245-1st-gen-iphone-upgrading-to-20-will-it-work-on-aus-vodafone/ Share on other sites
Mattwood
you will still have to unlock it... when you update it will re-lock to the original network it was on Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/115245-1st-gen-iphone-upgrading-to-20-will-it-work-on-aus-vodafone/#findComment-815992 Share on other sites
