fburger
Hi All, I'm having trouble installing Kalyway 10.5.2 on a computer with a P35 ICH9R chipset. I cannot get the install disc to boot on my pc. I Get a kernel panic when trying to load the ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin. I've also tried iAtkos 2.0i and it has the same problem. Any help would be appreciated. David Leonard
We are going to need some more information to pinpoint the problem. Fill this out. System Manufacturer (If Possible): System Model (If Possible): Motherboard Manufacturer and Model: Processor Manufacturer and Model: Graphics Card Manufacturer and Model: Sound Card Manufacturer and Model: Also, a great thing to do is check the Hardware compatability lists for Leopard 10.5.2 found here: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.5.2 Also, I would try a different ISO if it is and AMD processor, I use Leo4All V3. fburger
Just thought i'd add some more info about the kernel panic. It says that the error is trying to get cpu index. Does anyone have any ideas? David Leonard
There is a fix for that ACPI error. It is on the Leo4All disc I am using. I am having problems finding it. So I would get the Leo4All Disc and use the ACPI FixWhat extensions did you add?
