Seed00 Posted July 7, 2008 Share Posted July 7, 2008 i have a seagate 250GB sata hdd, samsung 200GB sata hdd, and 40GB Maxtor ATA hdd just like the post before, the hdds which is sata cannot detect by the installer so i just install it into the ata hdd firstly, i install Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD, but i forgot to choose the driver, so...... i reinstall it today, choose the suitable driver but not the kernel(i just use the default setting) when i try to boot into the 10.5.2, it halt. here are the screenshots i tried to disable the sata, it still halt on... (in the screen shot, two lines at the bottom will disappear when i disable sata or set ata hdd is the first boot device) i use sb600 as a keyword, and try some solution, but it not work http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...;p=472484 (some of them need terminal, but the case is, i can't boot into the osx 10.5.2......) is there anyway that can make 580X+SB600 boot into the mac os? (sorry for my english, my english is not v.good...) i do not need to install such things into my sata hdd...... just because i have an empty 40GB hdd, so i try to install it...... oops, i forgot to say that... when the screen was freeze, the hdd loading led still flashing...
