Ianxxx
Okay so I installed OSX86 Leopard 10.5.2 everything is working perfect besides I have no internet. My network card is VIArhine II compatable faster eithernet and I found a patch for it but when I drag the kext file into the extensions folder it says The System Extension was installed improperlyand cannot be used. I complete newb at this and is wondering what I'am doing wrong here or if this is even the proper way to install? You need to repair permissions, you can do this either with kext helper "try google" or manually sudo chown -R root:wheel /[NAME].kext sudo chmod -R 755 /[NAME].kext rm -r /System/Library/Extensions/Caches reboot Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/113965-thanks/#findComment-807168 Share on other sites
