zangetsu17 Posted July 4, 2008 Share Posted July 4, 2008 Hey, I have iATKOS v2.0i 10.5.2 which I updated to 10.5.3 by using Kalyway Combo Update leaving it on 9.2 kernel. I have to use RealTek software to get access to the internet, Safari and iTunes works fine. However MSN Messenger (Both Version 6 and Version 7) fail saying: "Sign in to Microsoft Messenger failed because the service is not available or you may not be connected to the internet" Also iChat will not let me connect either, saying: "The host refused the connection, please try again later" Adium doesnt work either :S If anyone could help me try and solve these problems then it would be greatly appreciated, Stocks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/113871-software-not-working/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
zangetsu17 Posted July 6, 2008 Author Share Posted July 6, 2008 Anyone? I have a bit more to add, the wireless adapter is a Netgear WG111v2 and I also have a Netgear DG834PN Router. I have a suspicion that it is the router because it automatically connected to an unsecured network in my area when mine was off and it logged in. It uses WEP 128bit by the way. Any help here?
