bodyboarding_bum Posted July 3, 2008 Share Posted July 3, 2008 Hello, I updated my graphics 'drivers' today and installed NVinstaller* v0.41 as recommended in the 'nForce chipsets: how to' guide**. The installation seemed to be completed sucessfully, and i was prompted to restart my computer. It came up with a message that read 'Your system needs to be restarted, please hold the power switch for a few seconds or press the reset button.' (or something similar). So i did that. Then tried to boot back into Mac OSX 10.5.2 and i got to the apple loading screen with the little spinning loading icon, the icon stopped spinning as it does just before it logs in, and the message pops up again. So i restart, again... same thing happens. No avail. I can't seem to get into the OS because this message makes me restart. Any suggestions? I do not want to have to re-install the OS again. PC specs in my sig. I've managed to get into the OS atm, but im using safe boot (F8 then -x).
