eRAZOR2007
Hi I'm trying to run a Civilization 4, patched to version 1.61 on a Hackintosh with the following specs: - Asus P5E - MSI 7800 GTX - Core 2 Duo 2.4 Ghz - Kalyway 10.5.2 upgraded using Kalyway_10.5.3_ComboUpdate After launching the game, initialization succeeds until the "Init Engine" step and then fails with: Initialize Renderer failed. Check DirectX installation. Parameters: width: 1024 height: 768 flags: 0xc adapterid: 0 deviceid: 3 Error: Creation failed: Invalid adapter Could this be caused by the game checking for specific Mac Graphics Card Vendor Strings? Any ideas? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/113098-civilization-4-on-mac/ Share on other sites
