Hi All-

So last night I took the brave plunge into the world of OSX for my IBM ThinkPad (model 2373 GEU). Amazingly, pretty much no problems with the install. My AC97 sound works.

Unfortunately, I just bought an Echo Indigo IO and need help getting it to work. From my system profiler, this is what I see:

pci1057,3410:

Function: Multimedia Device

Vendor: Unknown

Type: CardBus

Vendor ID: 4183

Device ID: 13328

The cardbus itself seems to work, as I can power off the card in osx. However, inserting the card will cause the system to hang. Indigo's 1.4 driver for Jaguar doesn't work and I can't find any ktexts that I could use to patch plists.

As someone in the forum mentioned, ktexts from Darwin are pretty basic. So I'm not sure if this method works: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Audio

Echo does have source code posted as C++, but rewriting a driver is way above my head. Echo responded to an email of mine saying that the Intel Dev machines don't have any PCMCIA slots that would accept their cards. Not only that, Apple is still designed to only use Apple hardware. Bummer.

If anybody has any advice, I'm more than happy to try.
