Hi there!

This is my first message here so if I do something wrong please let me know!

Basically I got this version of Kalaway 10.5.2

http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=98086

And I copied the image to a DVD. Then right-clicking on My Computer and clicking Manage I made a small 32GB FAT32 Partition.

I used diskpart to make a partition name=af and set it to 'active.' Then I restarted my computer with the DVD in the drive and booted from it.

The Darwin loader came up (At least it said Darwin) and it said 'Boot from CD in x Seconds. Press F8 for options' or something like that. So I press F8 and typed in -v

All this texts appears and scrolls down my screen. Then it gets three error messages all the same (Google told me this was something to do with Nvidia Chipsets) then it continually says 'Waiting for root drive.'

I really want to get OSX working on my PC so if someone could please point me in the right direction I would be very grateful!

My computer specs are

Intel Q6600 2.40Ghz

4GB RAM

ASUS EN8800GT 1GB

ASUS P5N-D mobo

WD SATA Hard Drive

Thanks again!

Tacketh

Just reading a small guide, could it be that I have a SATA DVD? I'm quite sure that I get the SAM READ/WRITE error. But it can also be my Hard Drive because I get the 'still waiting for root device' error?

If this is the case then do I need a new DVD and HDD? I got an IDE HDD but no DVD :D
