Compaq presario, model # sr1520nx. total specs are here. http://www.dealtime.com/xPF-Hewlett-Packar...20nx-Desktop-Pc The motherboard is K8S-LA, I think made by Asus. the only thing i have different is an ATI radeon 9550 VGA 256mb. thats not supported, i have to use the built in video. things i need: sound to work. LAN, only shows serial and firewire in network. Radeon 9550 support. could anyone help? much appreciated. I have been using the, Kalyway_10/5/2_DVD_Intel_Amd I get everything installed, then on reboot, the waiting for root device error. I have tried installing over and over again.
