sonicexcess
First off I just want to say thanks to a lot of people on this site for the help that has been posted, I'm new to OS X and the information I've found here has been invaluable. But now I really need some help and I cannot find the answer no matter how much I search the internet. I have a DFI CFX3200 DR motherboard with onboard Marvell Yukon 88E8052 ethernet which does not work out of the box. It intermittently lights up etc and shows up in system profiler with the correct Vendor and Device ID's. But no matter how many times I have tried various edits on the yukon2.kext etc it still does not work. I really could do with some help and advice. I also have an Intel Pro 1000 GT pci ethernet card but I have had even less success getting that to work. But if anyone could tell me how to get either of these working under Leopard I would be very gratefull. My Realtek HD audio also does not work and again I have searched for hours to try to find a solution but still no luck. I would be appreciative if someone may be able to help me. I'm not sure if its just my n00bness to OS X thats the problem or if my hardware really doesn't want to work for me! I must add that I am a very accomplished PC user (systems administrator in fact) so I do already have a very good knowledge of computers. But still I may just be stupid when it comes to Mac's. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/110622-leopard-1052-driver-problem/ Share on other sites
