Ashand Posted June 13, 2008 Share Posted June 13, 2008 hi Tiger is installed on my Asus laptop with no issue, everything is working including bluetooth and battery meter Kalyway 10.5.2 is refusing to installed on the same laptop...strange... I am wondering if i can to update from 10.4 to 10.5 ...is there any update like this? Synaesthesia Posted June 13, 2008 Share Posted June 13, 2008 Well, you can update to Leopard if you use the Brazilmac method to patch a retail DVD, it gives you option to update. But if your laptop is compatible in Tiger, then Leopard should work. What is your laptop's exact specs? There is a guide to install Leopard via pacifist (from Tiger) here, but it installs Leopard to a seperate partition. It works really well though. The steps are considerably simpler if you have a prepatched DVD like Kalyway. Just select OSInstall.mpkg, and the patches you want to apply in Pacifist, and then install, it works! Another option is to download iAtkos Leopard, or Leo4all, and see if they work on your system...
