shardie Posted June 12, 2008 Share Posted June 12, 2008 HI all I have two PCI firewire cards (cheap cards) in both my hackitoshes (one running Tiger 10.4.9 and the other Leopard 10.5.2). The firewire cards are exactly the same but i noticed that my Lacie drives are really slow in Leopard. In order to fix the speed i installed the Firewire kexts from Tiger 10.4.9 into Leopard - Fixed Permissions and rebooted.
