Hi all!

I'm trying to install OSX from marklar-tiger DVD, patched with SSE3Patcher, CoreGraphics, oah750 & oah750d, IOHDIXController.kext.

My computer configuration:

Processor: P4 Prescott 2,8 (SSE3)

Motherboard: Asus P5GDC-Pro (i915P)

Video: Geforce 6600 (PCI-X)

HD: One on S-ATA, One on P-ATA

Before patching DVD the insallation process handled on the blue screen with colored ball.

After the patching, installation stops on gray apple screen with the folowing error:

Panic (cpu 0 caller 0xC0321D8B) Unable to find driver for this platform (ADP2,1)

Any help or suggestions??

Thank you...

Try disabling PS/2 support in your bios and buying a $12 USB adapter for your keyboard and mouse.

You don't need the "SSE3Patcher, CoreGraphics, oah750" patches if you have an sse3 enabled cpu,

and you might not need the IOHDIXController.kext with your 915 chipset. (not sure on this one)

But you do need the oah750d patch.

From the sounds of things if it booted as far as it did before being patched try just the oah750d patch and see how it goes.

Unfortunately none of these suggestions worked for me...

If i use unpatched version with -v it shows the same error, loads the blue screen and stops...

P.S. Anybody knows what ADP 2,1 is? SCSI or something else? May be the problem in SATA?

Have u allready tried booting with flag platform=x86pc?

Your "strange error" is not strange at all. The second you put that kext file in the extensions directory, you stopped the system from loading the Extensions.mkext file. Without that, you will get nowhere.

Go read my post, it will explain.

But basically, as others said, you only need a patched oah750d, based on your hardware.

Basically, get an ethernet DSL modem. It's a good idea anyway, since you get a small speedboost, and you'll never have driver problems. Personally, I just like my 4-port switch/DSL modem/Router/Wireless access point B)

Plus, ethernet DSL modems generally are routers too, even if they don't mention it. Just plug the thing into a switch, and most of the time you can plug as many machines as you want into the switch.

Unfortunately, this is not my way: My 1Gb ethernet adaptor - Marwell Yukon - doesn't work in OS X x86 too
