g00dni9ht
Ok I installed using Zephyroth's 10.5.2 on my Compaq Presario V5100 Laptop. AMD x200m and 2 GB of Ram I am able to boot off the dvd and install Leopard. It says it was installed successfully, but when I restart (with the dvd in) it gets the the loading screen and shows the (\) sign in front of the Apple. I suppose this is a Root Device Not Found error. When I take the dvd out this is what happens: Itenl UNDI, PXE-2.0 (build 082) Copyright © 1997-2000 INtel Corporation For Realtek RTL8139(X)/8130/810X PCI Fast Enthernet Controller V.2.13 (020326) CLIENT MAC ADDR: (My Mac Address) GUID: (My GUID) DHCO. . . Then it restarts after a couple seconds any help? I didn't install ANY extensions installing Leopard. Just the core system. Here's what it shows when I press F8 and tpy -v -x Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/109739-leopard-installed-but-error/ Share on other sites
g00dni9ht
In addition, when I leave the disk and don't do anything the Apple loading screen shows up but stays there and later on shows a (\) symbol. Any clue on how to fix this? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/109739-leopard-installed-but-error/#findComment-777868 Share on other sites
