Yes well, it was bound to work, I guess

 

I've used Justin Nolan's method, and it worked beautifully - though, I was really hoping to get the install DVD to work.

 

Boots extremely fast - a few seconds, tops. I haven't tried out sound as of yet (Audigy 2 ZS?), but everything else works smoothly.

 

Here's something funny, boot up time was blazingly fast (under five seconds with a Raptor) without any patches. Though, safari wasn't very stable. After I added the Maxxuss 0.4 patch, boot up time went up, like 20 seconds, I don't get it. Then I removed the TPM thing and its considerably fast.. but not as fast as before.. Weird.

 

Now, I've got figure out on how to get dual displays to work, along with the Audigy 2 ZS (chances are, that's never going to happen).

 

I'd like to thank everyone here. I've been lurking for a week or so, reading up on other people's hurdles and tips - I'm almost sure now that I want to buy a mac.
