Blu3ness
have you checked the HCL? device manager doesn't tell you anything useful. But the ICH9 southbridge should ensure at least your HD and DVD drives are working. mac_cute
From the wiki: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.5.1#Intel This is for a DG33BUC,chipset Intel G33.If your mobo has the same chipset, maybe you are missing something... Moondaboo
I'm pretty sure I'm not missed a compoment. But when I read on that page for my motherboard I read: "Need SATA/USB dvd drive to install(IDE dvd drive does'nt work)" I'm getting I have to put Kalyway on a USB FAT32 and run it from there? mac_cute
Well, the wiki says that IDE CD/DVD drives doesn't work.So maybe you need a SATA CD/DVD drive (or another SATA DVD/CD drive if you have one),or an USB CD/DVD drive to install.Maybe a SATA/USB adapter will do the trick... Hmm, I see. I have a 4gig USB ready to use. Should I put the .iso onto here and set BIOS to boot from USB? PS: Just to clarify, I can't get past the gray apple screen when booting via DVD-r disk.
