Telefunken
ZD_Wlan_Config.tiffI have the same USB WLan adaptor. You should use this driver and software: ZD1211 USB Wireless Lan Driver drivers from http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Drivers/Zydas...SB-driver.shtml. See also http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...10.5.2#Wireless for more info. After installation, you will find a Wlan application in you Utilities folder. When properly installed, the Wlan selector application will open when you boot your computer. You can set some parameters according to your Wlan network, security settings etc. in the application window. See screenshot in uploaded image.ZD_Wlan_Config.tiff Persevere and you will get things working. gnychis
does anyone know how to get this working in snow leopard? Whenever I try to install those drivers, it fails. I can see the card listed as USB2.0 WLAN that is unconfigured... I just can't get these drivers to install. ZartinMaujec
When you are connected to a wi-fi and safari doesn't work, try going to network options, USB ethernet (or whatever is your usb wifi connection called), advanced, Proxies tab, and on the bottom - Use Passive FTP Mode has to be UNticked. that worked for me like a charm, hope it works for you Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/108887-how-to-configure-smcwusb-g-please-help/#findComment-1339554 Share on other sites
