nfsfan Posted June 4, 2008 Share Posted June 4, 2008 hi all despite this board being used by many users inthe forum some like taruga...i have not been able to perfectly install os x on it since jas 10.4.8.. kalyway 10.5.2 is my first leopard install and after reading the HCL wiki i was hoping that everything except the sound would work flawlessly.. well at first ethernet was woring but suddenly when i was installing office and the hda kext 0.4b for alc882 it stopped working..i am goin to do a fresh install one more time since i need the setup to be working by tomorrow urgently(have a bet with a reAL noobie friend..he doesnt believe that leopard can be installed on generic pcs..and he challenged me).. please p5ld2-vm se users could put in a little bit of help for me...it works and i am not able to get the ethernet and sound right.... thanx Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/108712-asus-p5ld2-vm-se-problemsusers-plz-help/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

nfsfan Posted June 6, 2008 Author Share Posted June 6, 2008 how does one change the default kernel? iahve currently the sleepkernel as the default..i need to change that to the modbin kernel... also there have been success with the vanilla kernel on my board..but i cant run it here..it goes into reboot state..
