HackingJack Posted May 30, 2008 Share Posted May 30, 2008 Hey guys Yesterday i reinstalled mac 10.5.2 (leo4all v3) and i got the famous error again(still waiting for root device) so i nuked the hd (writing zero) for maybe 10 minutes (normally takes 26 hours) and installed leopard succesfully again.. and then i tried to get my graphic card quarts extereme (for final cut pro) to work by installing new drivers, but then i read in some thread that you have to install leopard without any graphic card drivers and then do the graphics update and then install Bronya driver and then it should work.. so i tried to reinstall again today but get the error again, and i tried to nuke for 10 minutes again, didn't work.. i disconnected all my sata drives but the ide drive(for mac) and my sata dvd drive.. tried to install again , still get the error. does anybody know what the problem is? pleaze help and if anybody knows how to install qe on my graphic card (1950pro) i need mac for webdesign and video editing so thnx for everything sorry for my english ( iam dutch and moved to canada so iam learing:P) Asus M2N-E AMD 4800+ X2 2GB DDR2 800mhz Asus 1950pro 2 SATA HD , first XP , second HFS+ 1 IDE 80GB , mac MBR HFS+ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/107619-install-on-m2n-e-still-waiting-for-root-device/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
