techsys Posted May 29, 2008 Share Posted May 29, 2008 I have been a mac user since the first OS X but i was recently playing around with a PC I bought from a friend. My problem is, I can't get it to boot from dvd in BIOS, I have been searching and searching but to no avail. The computer is a Gateway, you have to hit f2 to get to the BIOS menu, I get there and set the the Boot Priority to DVDR drive save the settings and restart... but it keeps going back to windows. If i just play around with the order will I accomplish anything?
