Hi there.

I installed Tiger 10.4.8 on my Compaq Presario V4125cl with no sucess.

Then tried with 10.4.6 and instalation went fine, just no load (blue screen) after instalation

So I decided to upgrade to 10.4.8 and boot only for one time, now it doesn't load.

Any help?

My laptop:

Compaq Presario V4125cl

Intel Celeron M 1.4GHz

1GB of RAM

120GB HDD, 2 partitions (90GB XP , 20GB osX)

Intel Mobile 915GM motherboard.

I decided to try the VMware method of installing Mac OS X. Just google this and follow the instructions. In this case, the install DVD succesfully booted and I did not get a "stuck on kernel version" error, but now my virtual Tiger is stuck on the apple logo.

In Short: use the vmware method to avoid getting stuck on the kernel version.
