motorhead6776 Posted May 26, 2008 Share Posted May 26, 2008 Im trying to install leopard 10.5.2 i believe on my latitude d820 (2.0Ghz C2D, nvidia nvs120m (based on 7400), and 2gig ram). no matter what i try i cant boot from hard drive, im just stuck with a blinking "_". also if i try to get it to boot with the cd in i get a kernal panic. any help would be appricatiated at this point. motorhead6776 Posted May 26, 2008 Author Share Posted May 26, 2008 so ive turned off speedstep and multicore support in the bios and when i boot with the cd in i get a kernal panic at cpu 0, 0x001976bc. also i still just get the blinking "_" when i boot without the cd.
