Basti756
Hi there, since iATKOS v2.0i is the only Leopard distribution which barely runs on my P4 (no restart possible, USB mounting issue), I'm actually thinking about building a new Hackintosh. I have some hardware lying around which seems to fit. But I wanted to ask you first before buying new stuff. Mainboard: some ASRock with some SiS chipset (socket 939) CPU: AMD Duron 1.3GHz -> will be replaced by an AMD64 4000+ Graphics: GeForce FX5500 (256MB) or Radeon 9600 Pro (256MB) 2 SATA HDDs + IDE DVD ROM + IDE DVD-Recorder With the Duron the setup doesn't even start which is now wonder. So I'm going to replace it with an AMD64 4000+. Further I'm planning to use leo4all v3 or Kalyway 10.5.2 on it. What do you guys think? Is there any chance to get it working? On my Intel Machine neither leo4all nor Kalyway - setup DVD went further than the Darwin bootloader. Thanks in advance, Bastian Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/106944-amd64-4000-and-asrock-mb-sis-fx-5500/ Share on other sites
