error loading Operating system..XP?

Well i used to have osx86 tiger but its been a while and i decided to experiment again so im back. I have some knowledge of osx86 so installing it wasnt the problem. But when i finished the install i went to Gparted and i set Windows XP as the default boot but when it restarted to get into XP it said Error Loading Operating System. so then i went back into GParted set leopard as the boot default and it booted fine so then i went back to Gparted again put XP as the boot default and again same error. I was wondering if i had to tick the RAID option in manage flags because i have a SATA hdd but i dont think i have to.
