relin
Hey everyone. First I would like to thank everyone for all their knowledge and support, support and knowledge which helped me install 10.4.5 . Alright I have two different problems. First off I installed the driver so my Broadcom netextreme would be recognized. It worked and it has been detected, however, my ethernet (broadcom) adapter will not detect my ip address or acquire the DHCP information. Would I need to set up everything manually ? I have comcast and I am using a wired cable modem. My second problem is that everytime I reboot I get an error message saying that the network adapter driver can not be loaded, however, if I enter all that good stuff in the terminal which is required when first installing the driver, it will work when I reboot. So It works after I enter all that info, however on reboot I have to do it all over again. My PC Specs Are Pentium D 3ghz 2gb Ram with OSX on a second HD ATA If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you everyone .
