BIG
Hi guys I don't know whether the above question has already been answered by another thread but i have not found anything refering to my below problem. ebonweaver
I also have had no luck getting the iAtkos DVD to boot a system. With a P4 it spins for a long while then boots windows, I'm assuming it just silently bails if the CPU isn't a core2duo. On a core2duo it pops up with the press any key window, then goes immediately to the gray kernel panic you must push the power button to restart window that you get on a system with a corrupt OS. I tried a couple switches listed in the release notes and got no where. nvidia -v gave me a plain black screen with white text but still a kernel panic In both cases the panic says "Unable to find driver for this platform etc etc" as the main fail point. I see posts from people indicating they have gotten v2.0i (10.5.2) to install, but so far I'm not seeing how, unless the rar file is corrupt on the torent I got. Considering it takes 2 days to download because no real DL site seems to be hosting this, I wouldn't be shocked if there are errors in the torent, but that makes it an act of blind luck to get a working download... Any other thoughts out there? Any other forums we of the failed boot club should look to for help?
