Nevakonaza Posted May 19, 2008 Share Posted May 19, 2008 okay when i put in my OSX Leapord x86 cd i get the writing come on the screen and go fast and it stops and then i get this error "Still waiting for root device" what is this please? system specs Core 2 Duo E6300 OC'd @ 2.7Ghz AC Freezer 7 ProMSI P35 Neo Combo(45nm ready) 3Gb GeIL DDR2 @ 772 Mhz (Dual channel) Asus Extreme 8800GT G92 512Mb with Glaciator cooler WD Caviar 400Gb Sata II Gigabyte GZ-X1 Black case Lite-On 48X DVD writer Dual layer. norcalrivercat Posted May 19, 2008 Share Posted May 19, 2008 I think your only hope is to try a different disk. I had the same problem with Kalyway, so I used Zephyroth, but since you have Intel I'd reccomend Iatkos. But the root device seems pretty permanent, I don't think you can do much besides try something else. Good luck!
