Distro This, Distro That

So, I've got myself a spare PC. It once ran Tiger, and I'd like to try again with Leopard now.

 

After conferring with some folks in chat, I hear that I probably won't be able to use a distro that requires EFI, as I have an AMD processor. Is this true, and if so, can I still use the Kalyway DVD that I'm presently downloading? Which releases CAN I use if I can't?

 

I'll attach my system specs as soon as I can get hold of them
