I've bought a new PC, an Acer (with an Intel Dual Core E4600 Processor, an Acer MRS600M Motherboard, an ATI RS600 chipset, an ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO graphic card and a Realtek ALC888 soundcard( and every time I try to install Leopard (Leo4All v2 and v3, iAtkos 1.0i, Kalyway 10.5.2) I got an error saying that the disc may be damaged or one saying that the installer couldn't write the files to "Volumes\Leopard".

I'm trying to install it on an external disk but I had the same problem with the computer I had before (which I traded for this one) and I also tried installing in an internal partition. I've also tried installing just the kernel, but the effect is the same. I've burned the discs at the maximum velocity possible so there may be a problem with that but I'm not quite sure.

If you could help me, I would be very grateful.

I've tried Kalyway 10.5.2, which I've just tested on the old computer, and it got to 2 minutes left and then just stood there like it was installing.

Please help me. I know all my hardware is compatible so I can't understand what might be causing the problem.

P.S.: I had Tiger installed in this external HDD before.
