kingace
Hi all, I'm looking into this setup: Case: Micro-ATX Motherboard: Asrock ConRoe1333-D667 R1.0 Chipset: Intel 945GC A2 Video card: ATI Radeon x800 GT PCIe (I actually already own this, otherwise I'd buy a much nicer Nvidia card.) Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 2.6GHZ Harddrive: 120GB SATA Memory: PNY Optima DDR2 667 2*1GB I'd really appreciate it if someone would give this a once-over so that I don't waste money on a rig that isn't compatible with osx86 Leopard. If it helps at all, I've already looked at the HCL and apparently that mobo is compatible (with the exception of audio, it requires a patch).. its a $40 dollar motherboard tho, and that worries me alot. My biggest concern is the video card's compatibility with the motherboard, and with osx86. hughson
the motherboard's bios needs to be modified to get osx86 to work with that processor. there is a link somewhere on this forum posted by Kabyl. Everything works great with leo4allv2 & v3 and kalyway 10.5.2.(except no mic) needs patch for sound to work but only 2 channels-no 5.1. the video card you'll have to look around on the forum or the wiki.(I don't usually use ati cards) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/105368-is-this-setup-compatible-with-leopard/#findComment-750253 Share on other sites
