My System specs are: AMD Athlon 64 3200+ SSE3 MSI K8N neo v2 nforce3 250 Chipsatz 1GB RAM X800XT IDE HDD I made a Screenshot from the "panics". Can anyone help me with these problems? Does the nforce chipset cause these troubles? Has anyone got good drivers for the Realtek ALC 655 soundcard and for an ATI X800XT? It would be very nice if someone could help me. Sorry for my bad english. aquanutz Posted May 20, 2008 Share Posted May 20, 2008 I suggest you upgrade your graphics card. I ran an x800 for almost a year with varios hacks (callisto, koverg, etc) and they all had artifacts with them and when you changed the display, your mouse would become one huge glitch. As for your ALC 655, not sure. Check out the HCL (google: OS X HCL). ron_artest Posted May 20, 2008 Author Share Posted May 20, 2008 i have an old fx 5700 do you know if that card can qe/ci? the alc 655 is in the list and i tried a appleac97 which is supposed to make this chip work, but it doesn't. this is said in the hcl Realtek ALC655 audio working after adding device ID to info.plist where can i find out this id. about this mac isn working it caueses restarts to finder. I have a gf fx 5700. Do you think it would be better to use this card? I don't want to buy a new one for this system.
