penginman13
Is it possible to build a *insert whatever it would be* to make my Dell Inspiron E1705 go to sleep automatically right after startup? even at a logon screen? Its a hassle to try and fight my mouse on start up to get to the sleep button, and the cpus=1 is just slow. So, can it be built? knewsom
uhm, what do you mean it's difficult to fight with your mouse to get to the sleep button? If using your mouse is so hard, then how is sleeping the computer going to help?? I suppose you could always open system preferences: energy saver and set the sleep timer to the shortest period of time, that'd probably do the trick. penginman13
what I mean by that is because of the stuttering and the lag, my mouse is responding very jittery. Its just annoying to have to keep missing the sleep button because of the lag and horrible frame rate. I'm not mentally retarded if thats what you mean. I do know how to use a mouse. The system energy would work, but i was just wondering if it was possible to make it so the computer goes to sleep right after starting/logging in Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/104572-creating-an-automatic-sleep-utility-on-startup/#findComment-744715 Share on other sites
cosmo1t
Sim0ply download dockables, then go to your user account, and add sleep as a login item Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/104572-creating-an-automatic-sleep-utility-on-startup/#findComment-745065 Share on other sites
