Hi there;

Feel a bit silly asking, but does anyone know why rEFIt might just not install on a volume? Using the 0.11 .dmg file and the "new install package" (i.e. the recommended installation method), I did my first (and second, and third) restart and never once got the pretty GUI I was promised. It just didn't happen. The installation appeared to go off without a hitch, then when I restarted it was as if it had never happened. Do I have to somehow disable the BootCamp boot launcher first?

Dual boot OS X Leopard & Vista on a 20" first generation Intel iMac.

did you run the refit blesser in terminal?

open terminal

sudo -s and enter your password.

drag the always bless file in to the window and hit enter and it will do what it needs to then restart and you will have the menu

when i do that i get the following error:

/Volumes/rEFIt/rEFItBlesser/rEFItBlesser: line 49: $1: unbound variable

refit 0.13

mac os 10.5.7
