MApC Posted May 9, 2008 Share Posted May 9, 2008 I have installed Kalyway 10.5.1 on my Dell D410 laptop. Everything is working beautifully (including wifi), except for the sound. The audio is Sigmatel 9751. During the installation, the AC '97 audio was detected, but I didn't have any sound. I have tried AppleHDAPatch 1.18 with Sigmatel 9220 as it was suggested by some folks, but it didn't help. Any ideas? However sound was the one thing I thought worked. I've since overwritten the hard drive but will give it another go to check. What settings did you use to get wifi working? I am sure I did not have that. I nearly got it to work the first time, and started playing around with the BIOS settings, now I can't even get Kalyway 10.5.1 to run (without getting a blank blue screen) even when I go to default settings. I have worked out that it must have Speed Step and MINIPCI enabled, but I can't work out much more than that.
