Darkz_Soul Posted May 4, 2008 Share Posted May 4, 2008 OK here is the problem i installed MAC OS X tiger on an external hard disk on my DV6663us Hp pavilion laptop, the install went very smooth but now i cannot boot to Tiger keep getting a need to reset computer error. When running in diagnostic mode i get an error kdp_poll: no debugger device. i am a noob at MAC my laptop specs are AMD X2 2.2ghz 2gigs of ram NVidia 7125(not sure on exact) but 512 of shared Vram. 160 gig hard drive. And i have Vista 64 but the, MAC operating system 32 bit. I put the hard drive in another comp with same results but it is an Intel P3 450mhz with 512 ram and a ATI Rage something graphics card about 265 vram. i couldn't find a CHUD file that caused problems. Please help me. Note i booted this comp with hard disk as Primary Master P.S. I am using Linux 8.4 to look at the Hard drive for file problems. I installed using a DVD on my laptop and then transferd to other computer. using the -v command gices me a no debugger and i not much of a hacker i do not have the DVD any more. I know it isn't Tiger but i don't want to manage 2 posts right now....
