msmyth2002
Can someone please tell me if there is a way on 10.4.8 to modify the VNC server (Desktop Sharing) to allow a VNC client to connect (from linux) at less than Full Color? Full color is very slow over internet connections. I don't need to see all the colors - I just want to control the machine. The server side (MAC) closes the connection if full color is not enabled on the client side. Please help. I was hoping there is a config file to modify on the MAC. msmyth2002
Google has helped me locate the following files located in /Library/Preferences/ com.apple.RemoteManagement.plist com.apple.RemoteDesktop.plist com.apple.VNCSettings.txt com.apple.ARDAgent.plist I don't see a setting that relates to color settings in any of the files. Does anyone have any other info? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/102417-modify-vnc-server-settings-full-color/#findComment-731773 Share on other sites
