SajidZaman Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 hi there... i am facing some problems after installing KALYWAY 10.5.2 on my PC. first i will list the hardware i have and than the problems.. 1. Mother Board : Intel DE965 RYCK 2.Processor : Inter Pentium D 3.0 GHZ 3.Memory : 2 x Kingston DDR2 667 MHZ 4.GPU : XFX 8600 GTS with 256 MB VRAM 5.Hard Drives : 1 x WS 160 GB SATA , 1 x Segate 80 Gb SATA, 1 x Segate 200 GB SATA 6.Removeable Media : SONY DVD WRITER External USB 7. Network Card : Realtek RTL8139 Chipset now i will list down all the problems i am facing.. 1. In System Profiler My CPU is unknown but it shows speed 2. My 8600 GTS does works properly as it shows 512 MB of VRAM where it has only 256 MB 3. Audio does not works as my mother board has sigmatel 9227 chipset on board 4. My onBoard network adapter doesnot work....thats why i put in extra LAN CARD mentioned above. 5. MAYA 2008 OPA Hardware identifier does not recognizes my LAN CARD which is supported by MAC OS..i have been using internet on same card lately 6.i have restart my pc if i have to change screen resolution... i have installed KALYWAY on my 80 Gb hard drive....as other hard disk have WINDOWS VISTA 64 bit.... i have installed KALYWAY MAC OSX 10.5.2 with sleep and speedStep Kernel as Vanilla and all other kernels do not boot afer installation....i have installed ADOBE CS3 studio which works fine..but need to work with MAYA 2008......other than that it working perfectly fine... if some one can provide me with solutions of all above mentioned problems i certainly will buy lisence for MAC OSX as it is great Operating System developed by Apple.... sampledi Posted April 30, 2008 Share Posted April 30, 2008 That is licensing problem. Replace IONetworkingFamily.kext .... it is mentioned earlier for some other distributions on this forum.
