Pico Fury
hi guys im having trouble makin my laptop work with the JaS 10.4.8 AMD Intel SSE2 SSE3 image in my desktop yt worked fine so i assumed my laptop would to but i was wrong this are the specs: turion 64 2.0 ghz 1 gig ram 80 gigs hd sata dvd super multi geforce go 6150 nfocre 410/430 mcp first it would not read the sata drive, so i injected the driver from the nfroce4 trhread, it worked so i said good to go then i realized my keyboard and my trackpad didn't worked so i hooked up som external ones but the odd thing it's it took like 4 hours to get installed, but wint it finished it wuld just hang at the grey apple loading screen and after like 1 minute a cancel sig apears , like the one in the ipod when you kill one. so any help would be apreciated Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/101285-preasrio-v6000/ Share on other sites

annunaki
There are a lot of us in the same boat. I've detailed how I got mine working on this post... dv6110us AMD w/ iDeneb v1 Leopard 10.5.4 There are workarounds for "still waiting for root device", "com.apple.Boot.plist not found", "still waiting for IOKit to Quiesce" and a few more. If you're looking for QE/CI on the GeForce Go 6150, you probably won't find it just yet. The folks who write the "drivers" have been having a lot of trouble with the shared system/graphics memory. Someone has found a fix though to allow screen resolutions to be changed to 1200x800 though!
