lordmozilla Posted April 24, 2008 Share Posted April 24, 2008 What soundcard with Spdif out on linux and OS X soundcard ? that's the question. Preferably external. So far I've found the M-audio audiophile 192 and 2496 but apparently the PCI versions do not work under mac OS X. I'd prefer an external one, since my hackintosh mac pro is allready crouded and internal soundcards have all sort of noise issues when coming out of analogue ports. I'd rather it was in the sub £100, but please suggest. It needs to work under Linux perfectly since this is my main os. To be perfectly honest i' m not all that bothered if it doesnt work is OS X.
