Mayo Man
I cannot believe that that worked. I just followed your instructions to update 10.4.8 to 10.4.10 on a Toshiba laptop (Pentium 4). I tried this once before but without all the coding and it got stuck in a reboot cycle. After doing your set, it rebooted, loaded and stayed on the Apple Boot screen for quite some time. Then it rebooted. After a much faster load the second time, it is sitting quietly on my desktop waiting. I just hope updating the system will fix the problems with my wifi adapter.
