I seem to have a problem that other users are experiencing, but have not been able to find a solution. When loading Kalway 10.5.1 it freezes completely at the apple logo screen.

I ran -v and it showed:

Extension "com.apple.driver.ApplePCIConfigurator" has immidiate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpl components; use only one style.

I then ran -v debug=0x00000102 io=0x00200004 per another users suggestion to see what else was happening. It showed several more things ending with

ApplePCIConfigurator: :start(PC10) <1> failed

AppleACPIPCI: :start(PC10) <1>

Here is a screen shot. http://www.flickr.com/photos/25961262@N08/...852242/sizes/l/

Any ideas how to get around this? Thanks and hopefully I'll get some replies.

Not sure how to fix your problem, hitting f8 seems to work just fine for me.

I read in this thread that one person was able to fix it by modifying his .kext files. I've located the files but I can not edit them properly. I've tried 4 different ISO editors and the one that would let me replace the files (MagicISO), did not save it properly. The file is origionally 4.3GB and when I open it in the program it's only 3.7.

Any pointers anyone?
