Gtellabs Posted April 20, 2008 Share Posted April 20, 2008 ok guys i have searched and searched but i cant find anything "that works" i just recently had my brand new sata dvd-rw drive die and it was sent back yesterday they tell me it will take anywhere from 4-6 weeks to get a replacement back to me UGHHH! so here is the situation i want to install this on my system i have the Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd image but was never able to burn it i have a dvd drive but no burner now...sucks.. i have been searching and searching but i cant find anything that works to this extent .. is there a way to image the dvd image to a hdd and "boot" off it and then install to another hdd i have tons of hdd lying around sata and pata that could be used for this so thats why im asking can you do it? i would imagine it would be faster to... i hope im in the right forum for this if not or if theres a thread about this already i could not find it.. anyhelp would be great.
