mUsicXbEAt
Ok...this is rather odd. So I'm trying to triple boot XP, Ubuntu, and Leo4All. Now, I've gotten Mac to work on my computer before. Now I'm just multi-booting. So my partition set up is....: (In order on my hard disk) Windows XP - NTFS - 30GB Extended Partition - ............Linux - ReiserFS - 30GB ............Linux-Swap - 2.83GB Mac OS X - (not installed yet) - FAT32 - 50GB DATA - FAT32 - 120GB Both Linux and Windows are already installed. So, when I load up Leo4Allv2's setup I go into disk utility to format the 50gig FAT32 partition to HFS+....or so I think. Nothing happens really...it still thinks its FAT32. So I go into GParted...GParted says it's HFS+ though... I then when back into disk utility in the Mac setup. Still reads it as FAT32. And when I go to Verify Disk in First Aid it says "Invalid BS_jmpBoot in boot block: 000000". Thanks in advance! mUsicXbEAt
Perhaps there is software that will create an HFS+ partition besides Mac OS X's built in one? mUsicXbEAt
Ok...so I got all three operating systems on there. (Now remember, I have gotten Leopard to work on this same computer before, just it was ONLY Leopard) I have a SATA drive and I get the oh so famous "Still waiting for root device"....but why? My BIOS are the same as before! It SHOULD work but I don't know why... I'm using the vanilla kernel if that means anything (I have SSE3) I have both Windows XP and Ubuntu fully working so if I need to patch anything I think I can...please, point me in the right direction! Thanks in advance! Jason Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/100389-cant-install-os-x/#findComment-716826 Share on other sites
