Cyclic Posted April 20, 2008 Share Posted April 20, 2008 Just installed 10.5.1 all OK. Except the known problem that in Directory Services, SMB tick box doesn't appear. Trying to connect to a USB printer on a Vista machine, looks like it's going to work, but doesn't. Interestingly, I can swap files between the two, they can see each orher, just having problems with the printer. I've seen screen shots of the SMB Service tick box and Windows Share tick box, I have neither! Any clues?? Cyclic Posted April 20, 2008 Author Share Posted April 20, 2008 Hmm, well, rebooted tonight, and in 'Sharing', "Windows Sharing Is On" radio button! Appeared out of no where! Go figure.
