macnevbiew
I am just testing out installing the mac osx86 on a amd based system. The problem is that it installs fine, but then when I try to boot, it loads, then it says in black you need to restart your system, press the power button for a few second, or reset button. I tried this and returns to the same screen. AMD hardware used DFI 250gb amd 64 3000+ 512 ddram Nvidia Geforce 2 Ide hard drive 10gig DVD drive Disabled all of the onboard devices, sound, lan, sata. Where am I going wrong, did I create the wrong file system, I select mac extended jornalist partiton. Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/10021-amd-x86-install/ Share on other sites
